The Herman Group has a very popular free newsletter, Trend Alert. It is published to over 20,000 readers each week, in English. They wanted to add a Spanish version.
So they arranged with a strategic partner in Colombia to translate the weekly alert. The company sends a pre-distribution copy of the English version two days before mass distribution. She translates it to Spanish and sends the result to a CCtoMany address, which is in reality the subscriber list of people who have requested the Spanish edition of Trend Alert! The company was so pleased that the system worked so well that they added Portuguese and French versions as well.
